We provide student scholarship opportunities to YPPA member’s children and children of Yakima County. Every year we offer five (5) $1,000 scholarships.
This is a selection process with specific selection criteria. Each application will be reviewed by the Benevolent Fund members.

- Sydney – Yakima Valley College / Centralia College
- Sophie - Brigham Young University Idaho (TBD)
- Andrew – Grand Canyon University
- Ryan – Western Kentucky University

Scholarship Eligibility
- Be a son or daughter of a current YPPA member in good standing,
- OR be a part-time or full-time student, from Yakima County, at an accredited college or trade school.
- Applications must be submitted by April 1.
*IMPORTANT
- Should a recipient of a scholarship fail to enroll and/or attend a qualifying college program within six (6) months after its receipt, the full amount of the scholarship will be returned to the YPPABF.
- You may be contacted for in-person interview.
- Each applicant is eligible for two (2) scholarship awards in their academic career.
- You may only submit one (1) application per year.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee that the applicant will be awarded a scholarship.
